Dr. Stephen Sell :: Feasterville Chiropractor
It Took a Shoulder Injury
“It took a shoulder injury during college football”, explains Dr. Sell, “for me to try Chiropractic. But what could a Chiropractor do for a shoulder injury?” he thought. “Well, the shoulder was corrected in no time and I was back on the field.”
This all happened for Dr. Sell while studying Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, and Biology at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. While at Ursinus, Dr. Sell did an internship at a Chiropractic office. “I immediately saw how many people got help from various conditions for which nothing else worked.” Dr. Sell states. “I knew I had to be a part of this. I wanted to help people in this profound way. I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor.”
Becoming a Chiropractor
Dr. Sell went on to Chiropractic school and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. (This is where Chiropractic was discovered and developed into the healing profession it is today.) During his course of study, a major emphasis was placed on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinics. He also participated in mission trip to Brazil where he provided complimentary care to the Amazon population.
“Our philosophy is that Chiropractic is for everyone” smiles Dr. Sell. “All of us have had falls, injuries, accidents, and emotional stresses that affect our spinal alignment. We feel there’s no better way to get healthy and stay healthy than with regular adjustments.”
In His Spare Time
In his spare time, Dr. Sell enjoys playing the guitar and the occasional game of golf. He is also a huge Philadelphia sports fan.
Dr. Sell exercises at least 5 times per week as part of his healthy lifestyle. He uses a combination of strength training and cardiovascular exercise to stay in shape. He also receives at least one Chiropractic adjustment every week and has been doing so for over 10 years.
